When you have created an “instance” of the desired 3d-geometry from the MODELS MENU (which is shown now in the LAYOUT FEATURE Entity List) and you defined or selected a Domain to be used in your project, you can open the FEATURE DIALOGUE for the relevant instance when you click on its name (appears purple).

In the FEATURE DIALOGUE, you use to assign the desired domain (material) in the Select Entity window.
