How to work with the Analysis
The easiest way to work with the analysis tool is to use the diffusive modulus template.

preparation of a regular analysis
Requirements:
you need to select

a model from the models menu
instentiate it

so that it is shown as origin in the LAYOUT FEATURE

in the DOMAIN FEATURE

materials have to be defined for casting and mold
in the BASIC SETTINGS FEATURE

proper bounds for the meshing have to be set. (use either a 10% Margin on the 3d diagonal of the bounding box of your part or enter the dimensions of your mold, for example.)
(in the OVERVIEW FEATURE

you must see your part shown in the color as selected/given in the DOMAINS FEATURE

create a proper discretization of your part using the DISCRETIZATION FEAUTURE

for the *DESIGN*

so that it is shown as origin in the LAYOUT FEATURE

modify your geometry with the SCULPTING FEATURE

by pressing the INITIALIZE button and use of stencils or brush tools to modify the mesh.

The discretization as well as the solutions may be viewed in different configurations.
You may also alter the appearance of the analysis or highlight important locations by adding annotations using the SHOW HOTSPOT button.
