When you open Visiometa you need to create a New project. Following the opening, you will see the General User Interface. You need to open the MODELS MENU to IMPORT a new geometry.

E.g. you might want to download a sample file https://visiometa.com/files/downloads/drive_housing.step (Select the drive housing and save it without txt extension as .stp).
