When you open Visiometa you will see the [[tutorials:how_to:generalui|General User Interface]]. You need to create a new project {{:glyphs:projectnew.png?30|New}}. You need to open the MODELS MENU to [[models:import|IMPORT]] [[models:import|{{:glyphs:itemdownload.png?32|}}]] a new geometry.

E.g. you might want to download a sample file [[https://visiometa.com/files/downloads/drive_housing.step]] (Select the drive housing and save it without txt extension as .stp).
